Margarine maker Sime Darby Hudson Knight has been fined R35m after it was found to be colluding with Unilever in South Africa to avoid competing with each other.
South Africa’s Competition Commission said the two companies had allocated customers to each other by agreeing that Sime Darby would not supply the consumer market.
