Take our two-minute anti-slavery survey

21 July 2016

Has Supply Management's coverage of slavery and the UK's Modern Slavery Act helped increase your awareness and understanding of the issue?

All year, Supply Management has been highlighting the shocking existence of slavery across supply chains, and helping to make businesses aware of the new UK Modern Slavery Act and how it affects them.

The Act requires companies with more than £36m turnover to detail what they are doing to tackle slavery and human trafficking in their supply chain. Yet a CIPS poll conducted in early 2016 revealed that 67% of SMEs had never taken any steps to tackle slave labour, and 75% would not know what to do if modern slavery was found in their supply chains.

Tell us if the coverage has improved your awareness, and what else is needed to remove slavery from supply chains, and take our two-minute anti-slavery survey.

Meanwhile, Andrew Wallace, whose work paved the way for the Modern Slavery Act, will be speaking at the CIPS Annual Conference on 20 October at Westminster, London. Book your ticket.
