From more than 150 entries, the 2016 CIPS Supply Management Awards finalists have been chosen.

Eight individuals and 59 team entries were last month named as having earned a place on the coveted shortlist for the UK CIPS Supply Management Awards.

Chris Bell from City of London Corporation, Jane Ellis from Citi and John Dowling, formerly of Doosan Babcock, are the top three still in the running to be named the next CIPS procurement and supply chain management professional of the year.

Alexandra Burgess from Shell UK, Alexandra Hackwell from mhs homes, Daniel Tunnicliffe from Rolls-Royce, Lucy Morrison from Innovia Films and Philip Carvel from Northumbrian Water are up for the title of young professional of the year.

In the 13 group categories, a dozen organisations across the third, public and private sectors feature on the shortlist (a full list can be found at bit.ly/28IIOvg) more than once. The winners in each category will be announced at a lavish black tie event at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 14 September. Go to bit.ly/28IKtko to book your ticket.
