How to raise the profile of procurement

CIPS group CEO David Noble, group marketing and membership director Cath Hill and CIPS president Richard Masser will be taking to the stage at the CIPS Australasia Conference on 27 July in Melbourne.

They will be sharing new ideas on how you can raise the profile of the procurement function within your organisation, create tangible value, and be seen as a ‘strategic enabler’.

Kick-starting the day, Noble will offer his personal insight on the changes in the business and economic environment, their impact on procurement, and how CIPS can help you.

Next up Masser will be sharing his top tips on how you can put procurement at the heart of your business – the core theme of his CIPS presidency.

Then, opening the first session on stream three – the Soft Skills stream – Hill will demonstrate how you can expand the influence of procurement and supply through the use of targeted innovative marketing and the power of leaders that are self-aware and collaborative.
