'Mindblowing' decision to source military uniforms from China

Campaigners have described the award of a contract to produce dress military uniforms to a company sourcing from China as a “huge mistake”.

The Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL) said it was “in disbelief” that the AUS$9m contract went to Australian Defence Apparel, which will produce the clothing using “established sub-contractor arrangements” overseas.
