The deadline to enter this year’s CIPS Supply Management Australasia Awards has been extended to 10 May.

If you want to be considered for one of the 12 team categories, including the new Best People Development Initiative or one of the two individual awards, now is the time to act.

The 2017 conference and awards ceremony will take place at a five star hotel in Australia. It is a chance to recognise and celebrate the very best of procurement and supply management in the Australasia region.

The overall winner in last year’s awards was the procurement team at Caltex.

Other team award winners included Air New Zealand, Airservices Australia, Melbourne Health, Qantas, The University of Sydney, Telstra, City of Gold Coast and the NSW Department of Education.

This year’s judging panel will consist of representatives from CIPS as well as senior procurement leaders led by Peter Morichovitis, chief procurement officer for the City of Gold Coast.
