MENA region needs to spend $302bn on power

The MENA region will need to invest $302bn in its power sector by 2021 to maintain supplies, according to a report.

Some $179bn of the total will be needed to add 138GW of generating capacity, while the rest should be invested in transmission and distribution, said Apicorp.
