Renault to open new vehicle plant in Iran

Renault has signed a joint venture with two Iranian partners to open a new manufacturing plant in the country.

The plant will initially be able to produce 150,000 vehicles a year, starting with the new Symbol and Duster models. They will be built in Saveh, 120km from Tehran.
