Australia’s wines are becoming increasingly valuable with exports to China proving to be a particularly fertile growth market, according to a report.
Total export value grew by 7% to $2.22bn in 2016. Average value per litre grew by 6% to $2.96 per litre – its highest value since 2009, according to the Wine Australia Export Report December 2016.
