India reserves railway procurement for small businesses

India’s Ministry of Railways has announced plans to promote micro and small enterprises (MSEs) by reserving 358 items exclusively for procurement from the MSE sector.

The items that are reserved for procurement from the MSEs include cleaning equipment, stationary, handicrafts and leather items.
