Bid to tighten Australian-made label for beef

Political moves are under way that could make it illegal to market beef as Australian if it is processed overseas.

Nick Xenophon Team MP Rebekha Sharkie and leader of Katter's Australian Party, Bob Katter, have teamed up to introduce legislation they say will close a loophole in marketing laws.
