Jingdong says robots will run all logistics

Chinese e-commerce giant Jingdong (JD) aims to have its entire logistics operation run by robots after launching a pilot of automated couriers.

Lui Qiangdong, JD’s chairman, told state broadcaster CCTV that after the pilot launch on Monday, the company was on track for complete automation in the coming years.
