Kenya’s opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) has vowed to “declare war” on procurement fraud and wasteful spending six weeks before Kenyans are due to go to the polls.
The coalition said in its manifesto that a NASA government would buy goods and services at the lowest price offered by a vendor and officers who procured at above market prices would be personally surcharged the difference.
