Public perceptions of corruption are increasing in several major Asian countries, a survey of 22,000 people in the Asia-Pacific region has revealed.
Transparency International’s Report People and Corruption: Asia Pacific found that 73% of people in China believe corruption had got worse over the last three years, showing that the country’s attempts to crack down on corruption may be having little effect.
