Manchester Airports Group has soared to victory in the CIPS Supply Management Awards Europe.

A transformation of the procurement function that has generated £15m of savings so far led the organisation to pick up Best Process Improvement Initiative and overall winner.

The winners were announced at ProcureCon Europe in Berlin, Germany.

The awards, in association with ProcureCon Europe, also saw recognition for Turkcell, Vestel and AstraZeneca.
