Firm debarred after inflating experience for road tender

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) has announced the debarment of a Chinese construction company found guilty of engaging in fraudulent activities.

An investigation revealed that Chongqing International Construction Corporation (CICO) distorted their experience to meet tender pre-qualification requirements set for an AfDB financed road project in Uganda.
