Diageo close to 80% African local sourcing target

Diageo has announced it is close to a target of sourcing 80% of raw materials locally in Africa by 2020.

David Cutter, newly-appointed chief sustainability officer and president of global supply & procurement at the drinks maker, said they were currently sourcing 79% of raw materials locally but further work was taking place to boost this further.
