Zimbabwe announces space agency

Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangagwa has launched the country’s space agency.

Mnangagwa said the Zimbabwe National Geospatial and Space Agency would enhance satellite communication systems in the country and bring benefits to agriculture, mineral exploration, conservation and infrastructure management, according to the state-owned Chronicle newspaper.
