African entrepreneurs to get e-commerce training from Alibaba

African entrepreneurs are getting advanced e-commerce training in China from online giant Alibaba.

Under the programme, run by Alibaba and the UN Conference on Trade and Development, 29 entrepreneurs will get a tour of Alibaba-affiliate Cainiao's smart warehouses. They will also carry out field research into rural e-commerce and exchanges will take place with Chinese e-commerce entrepreneurs.
