Tanzania road completes Cape Town to Cairo Highway

Tanzania president John Pombe Magufuli has opened the Dodoma-Babati road, which completes the Trans-African Highway from Cape Town to Cairo.

The opening means vehicles can now travel from Cape Town to Cairo using only paved roads, boosting trade and integration across the continent.
