First African-made smartphone announced

An African investment group plans to make the first “made-in-Africa” high end smartphone.

Mara Corporation, a Rwandan based investment group, has announced it will start producing a high quality but affordable phone called the Maraphone that the group claims will be the first to be made in Africa.
