Abu Dhabi launches localisation scheme

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has launched a localisation programme aimed at boosting opportunities for local suppliers, according to a legal consultancy.

In a briefing Schlüter Graf said the programme, named Abu Dhabi Value (ADV), requires all suppliers bidding for business with ADDED to complete a self-assessment, which will need to be certified by an accredited body to create an ADV score.
