Plan for subsea tunnel link between the Gulf and India

A plan has been unveiled to connect the Arabian Gulf and India through a high-speed under-sea railway.

The ambitious scheme, currently at the concept stage, was revealed during UAE Innovation Month 2019. The project would provide transport of goods, natural resources and passengers via a subsea rail link.
