Victoria Police uses first fully-electric cop car

Victoria Police has added a Tesla Model X to its Highway Patrol fleet as part of a feasibility study on electric vehicles.

The Tesla will be used to carry out regular highway patrol duties as part of a “feasibility study into developing fully integrated electric, IT-based police vehicles for fleet use”, Victoria Police said.
