Walmart China launches blockchain platform

Walmart China has announced a blockchain platform that will carry more than 100 product lines by the end of the year.

It is expected the Walmart China Blockchain Traceability Platform will account for 50% of fresh meat sales, 40% of packaged vegetables and 12.5% of seafood by the end of 2020.
