First vehicles shipped through new land-sea freight route

8 May 2019

A shipment of 25 containers of trucks was transported for the first time through the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), connecting China with Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.

The shipment of domestically manufactured vehicles was transported from southwest China’s Chongqing to Qinzhou by rail and sea to the Philippines. This marks the start of a new land-sea freight route for a regular vehicle export service, according to Chinese state news agency Xinhua.
