Ethiopia plans to become leading bamboo producer

Ethiopia aims to become Africa’s leading bamboo producer by 2030 and has approved a National Bamboo Strategy and Action Plan to help it achieve the goal.

The plan has been developed by the Ethiopian Environment Forest and Climate Change Commission and approved by the government.
