Fortescue awards contracts worth $165m to support Aboriginal firms

Mining firm Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has awarded contracts worth $165m to support Aboriginal businesses in Western Australia.

FMG has set up three joint ventures (JVs), which will last three years, to provide catering, accommodation management and recreation services across three work camps in the Pilbara region.
