What’s in an award?

22 October 2007

In the latest issue of SM we profile all the winners of this year’s SM/CIPS awards, who they are and what they did to achieve the accolade.

We have been told that winning an award makes a huge difference to both the teams and the individuals that receive them. It boosts morale, assists with internal marketing of procurement by raising its profile and also leads to new opportunities, particularly for the individual winners who tend to get headhunted.

Have you ever won an industry award? What difference did it make to you and your team?
