Need a cheap car?

11 January 2008

The growth of emerging nations is pushing down prices of a lot of goods, but it seems there is another to add to the list.

This week Indian firm Tata has launched what it claims is the world’s cheapest car. The “Tata Nano” will cost 100,000 rupees, which is around £1,277.

Could this be an opportunity for buyers to renew their company car fleet at a low cost?
