Stamping out fraudsters

Our news story today reported that an economic downturn could result in the increase of corporate fraud.

It follows a KPMG survey last year revealing that procurement employees account for nine per cent of company fraud.

With this in mind, is fraud a problem in procurement? And if so, are there effective ways of stamping out corruption?
