The great e-mail headache

According to this BBC story, two million e-mails are sent every second in the UK alone. This incredible exchange of information means many of us are confined to sorting through our inbox for up to half the working day.

And it's not without its drawbacks. A study has revealed around a third of workers suffer from “e-mail stress”, while a FTSE 100 firm says battling with pointless e-mails costs it £39 million a year.
