When aspects of procurement break into the mainstream it isn’t always positive, but sometimes it is simply bizarre.
Watching US detective drama The Mentalist last week I was surprised to see the show focus on neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). As this is a topic we have featured in SM before I was interested to see what their take would be.
So I was even more surprised to see the writers of the show had decided that NLP was just a euphemism for hypnotism.
If only this was the case for buyers! Negotiations with a supplier going badly – why not just whip out your pocket watch and bring them under your spell.
But a word of warning - in this particular episode the evil murderous hypnotist got her comeuppance at the end.
