Blog picI was among the estimated 6 million people who didn’t make it into work yesterday. The extraordinary deluge of white stuff meant the day was affectionately branded a "snow event" by many, and pictures on the news showed children (and many adults) revelling in the novel conditions. But according to the Federation of Small Businesses, the weather could have a serious impact on the UK economy, with reduced staff numbers costing UK businesses £1.2 billion. Buyers may have felt the impact directly as conditions played havoc with travel, causing inevitable disruption to supply chains. Have your supply routes been affected by the snow?
