Employee of the month

5 September 2011
Analysis of 19 professions by the Office for National Statistics suggests the month you are born in could make you more likely to end up in a certain profession. Procurement and supply chain was not one of those included unfortunately, but this research determined those born in January included the highest proportion of GPs and debt collectors, chief executives tend to be born in July and November is the month for likely serial killers (now’s the time to take a nervous look at your colleagues). Whether this unscientific examination holds any weight is questionable, but maybe you could take a quick straw poll of your team to see if there is any correlation between birth months in the procurement profession?
