A healthy development for NHS buyers

At Barts and The London NHS Trust  we constantly try to ensure best value in everything we purchase, but it is a mammoth task.

While 87 per cent of our influenceable non-pay spend of £195 million is covered by contracts, we need to do much more to ensure we have value for money. I believe the PETO product comparison website will give us the transparency and product searches that have not been available or designed up to now, specifically for the NHS.

The launch of the site will form an important tool in our set that provides pricing, benchmarking, product information and alternatives. We are looking forward to having the market knowledge and trends that we just do not have the resources to research ourselves.
