The dealer tries to work out just how much the punter wants the item and the punter plays his game of always being ready to keep his cash in his pocket. Sometimes there’s a bit of fierce bargaining. A second opinion may be sought. Sometimes people throw their attitude into the ring: that’s the price – take it or leave it.
