    Marketing & Events Manager

    Hours: 35 per week 
    Salary: ZAR 583,482 - 692,883 pa

    Job Summary: 

    Reporting directly to the General Manager Africa with dotted line responsibility to the Group Marketing Director, the Marketing and Events Manager Africa is to provide marketing input through local strategy adoption and the development of tactical plans directed at all CIPS Africa business initiatives and business functions.  They will provide quality and timely support to ensure strong communication with relevant stakeholders and on-brand professional execution of CIPS Africa events.

    They will support the GM and CIPS Africa team with events; the production of marketing and promotional material; copywriting; public relations; social networking activity; working closely with the Group Marketing team based in the UK.

    The will cultivate, develop and manage external resources to maximise CIPS event management, marketing opportunities and services to CIPS SA and other CIPS Africa active departments as required.

    Knowledge Manager (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation)

    Hours: 35 per week 
    Salary: ZAR 583,482 - 692,883 pa pro rata

    Job Summary: 

    • To participate in the research, development and implementation phases following identification of potential Francophone cluster countries.
    • To identify existing networking groups from the health procurement sector.
    • To build new health procurement networking communities within the designated regions that will allow for face to face and remote interaction.
    • To orchestrate and build awareness of events that are of interest to procurement professionals working in the healthcare sector, to increase maximum engagement from junior and senior specialists.
    • To develop knowledge share and best practice discussion, with a view to leverage and record the content in digital or written format to upload onto the BMGF platform.
    • Maintaining contact with CIPS head office to transfer relevant knowledge content to the knowledge team for engagement by the CIPS global community.
