New CIPS office in MENA under way

CIPS 28 September 2011

CIPS activity for almost a decade in the Middle East is to be widened to other countries as CIPS develops its offering in the Middle East North Africa region (MENA).

Having already worked with large multi-national, state-owned and public sector organisations in Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain, on developing networking groups, study centres, corporate and academy programmes, CIPS will open a new office presenting more localised support. Rebecca Fox, General Manager continues to manage the office in Dubai and will be recruiting a new team to provide those local services. The new office will also aid the work of established CIPS member branches in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman and Dubai. CIPS has already established links with several high profile organisations such as BAE Systems, Qatar Foundation and Emirates Airlines, as the region shows a thirst for good procurement practice.
