CIPS Seminar Series with Salesforce | How to integrate sustainability into supplier contracts

Wednesday, 13 October 2021 - CIPS VIRTUAL PLATFORM

Webinar

The only successful path through the climate crisis is newfound levels of collaboration and innovation. But are businesses, and their supply chains, ready to accelerate their efforts?  Treating the environment as a key stakeholder in your organisation’s procurement and a guiding principle during negotiations are crucial. In this session, get tips to help you use your own customer voice for climate action from your suppliers. Gain ideas to incorporate into your supplier contracts. And take pointers to help you implement a plan of continuous improvement to reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact of the provision of your goods and services.
Why attend?
In this seminar we will:
Explain how to place binding commitments upon suppliers to combat the climate emergency in a way that is both rigorous and appropriate for a supplier’s size.
Offer advice on how to put your organisation at the forefront of advancing sustainable business practices, and set science-based targets to limit global warming.
Share lessons learned to help you make a successful rollout for incorporating sustainability into your supply chain contracts
