CIPS MENA Women in Procurement Applied Learning Programme

What is it?

In Procurement, like many other professions, women are significantly under represented at a senior level. This programme is designed to address that imbalance by creating more female business leaders with a core procurement and supply chain competence.

How will this be done?

Via an accelerated programme, which is internationally recognised and delivered by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) the global institute representing the profession of procurement & supply.

How will this be different from other programmes?

The programme will be exclusively for women and based on the Applied Learning concept which is based on practical application of knowledge rather than academic. It is an internationally recognised programme. In addition, mentoring, role modelling and thought leadership sessions will be provided specifically for delegates by senior female procurement leaders from around the world. This programme will also include a field visit.

How long will the programme last for each person?

The programme will last 12 – 18 months per delegate depending on the capabilities of each candidate.
