What’s the biggest challenge you have faced as a woman in business to date?

... that being ‘Assertive’ continues to be a rare adjective to describe confident women in business.

Who has inspired you (male or female)?

My mother Krishna; Seth Godin - an author, entrepreneur and most of all, a teacher; Darryl Sim – a ballet dancer, mentor, friend, an enterprise architect who is also a chef extraordinaire; Brene Brown, Dare to Lead.

What do you wish you’d known when you started out and/ or what advice would you give your younger self?

To dream more. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

What are the character traits of successful women and/ or what do you think makes a good leader?

Resilience. Walking the talk. Empathy. Foresight. Holding self-accountable for finding potential in people and processes.

Do you have a favourite quote or statement that sums up your approach to life?

“You are what you believe in. You become that which you believe you can become.” – Bhagvad Gita

What do you #ChooseToChallenge?

Collectively, we can create an inclusive and more gender-equal world – I #ChooseToChallenge the next generation of parents, teachers and caregivers to raise their children to be both kind and courageous regardless of their gender.
