Yet, as climate change has risen as a topic of media interest, a host of associated terms – many of which remain poorly defined and widely misunderstood – have also gained prominence.
One such phrase is ‘the low carbon economy.’ RWE Npower’s Winter 2006 Business Energy Index explored this concept and concluded that there was a “lack of common understanding as to what the Low Carbon Economy is”.
