As a result of the Covid-19 global pandemic, we are accelerating our plans to provide learners with more agile, flexible exam methods and going forward we will focus on delivering exams in March, May, July and November.

Introducing new exam methods has always been on our future roadmap since moving to computer-based exams. As a result of the Covid-19 global pandemic, we are accelerating our plans to provide learners with more agile, flexible exam methods and going forward we will focus on delivering exams in March, May, July and November.  During the rest of 2021 going into 2022 we will be working in consultation with our education partners to introduce additional new methods of examination.

 

The affects on exams due to the global pandemic has simply accelerated these plans. We are investing time and resource in developing more agile ways for students to access exams to progress on their learning journey as quickly as possible in the future.

Yes, we have carefully reviewed exam entries at each exam session and plan to extend capacity to meet demand.  In addition we have successfully trialled remote exams in many countries and will continue to expand our offer of remote invigilated exams in more regions as 2021/2022 progresses.

Yes, but you must use your deferred exam voucher codes in the May or July 2021 exams and before the expiry date.Your exam voucher code is unique to you and cannot be extended, transferred, or exchanged for another product or service.

Yes, the 2021 exams information is available now and in 2022 all students will continue to have access to four exam series each year in March, May, July and November.

Yes, our exams are computer-based in most regions and available at each exam series except for L6M4 Future Strategic Challenges which will continue to be available in May and November only.

Yes, paper-based exams will still be available in May and November 2021 in some regions

CIPS has a global network of 190 education partners offering learning programmes for CIPS Qualifications. Each offer structured, tutor-led learning and you can be certain that you have covered the whole syllabus ahead of your exam.

Studying with an accredited education partner allows you to:

  • Ask your tutor about complex concepts or models
  • Share study techniques and feedback with your fellow students
  • Learn how the procurement principles you’re studying are applied in a variety of organisations from other procurement professionals
  • Study either full- or part-time

Most will also offer revision sessions ahead of exams and provide exam venues. They will also manage your exam entry for the four global exam series.

No, we have published an up-to-date timetable for exams series in 2021 so that all Study Centres and their learners can make plans for the exams they wish to enter.
