Plastic Packaging Tax has come into force from the 1st April 2022 where there will be a levy of £200 per tonne on plastic packaging and some products that do not contain 30% recycled content are subject to the Tax when put into the UK market.

Procurement need to understand what impact this tax may have on pricing and legal requirements and understand who is responsible for the Tax. Delegates will understand what initiatives need to be put in place to avoid this tax.
