What about the benefits and challenges of having a supplier diversity programme? During this event we’ll answer these questions and more!

    Passionate about diversity and inclusion in and out of the workplace, Jafles is the Global Head of Indirect Materials at Oerlikon. Jafles leads a team of global category leaders and regional heads of procurement that manages the global volume of Indirect Material spend categories at Oerlikon.

    Andrea Fimian

    EMEA Supplier Diversity Program ManagerIBM Switzerland Ltd

    An engaged Supplier Diversity leader, located in Zurich, Switzerland, Andrea Fimian runs the Supplier Diversity Program for Europe, Middle East and Africa for IBM since the beginning of 2015. Driven by spreading the word about Supplier Diversity in European countries where this topic is rarely known, by showing the impact Supplier Diversity has to the economy, for corporations and diverse owned businesses. In 2017 IBM won the European Diversity Award for their Global Supplier Diversity Programme and Andrea Fimian won the 1st price of IT Female Awards 2019 in the category Outstanding Diversity Commitment presented by the Women IT Network organization in 2019.

    Miriam Hartmann

    Global Supplier Management LeadF. Hoffmann-La Roche AG

    Miriam Hartmann, Global Supplier Management Lead, joined Roche Global Procurement in 2019. Since 2020, she is leading Roche’s Strategic Supplier Management team, where she is responsible for managing the partnerships and driving improvement and innovation initiatives with Roche’s most strategic suppliers. Passionate for driving innovation and creative thinking, she is also teaching Design Thinking at the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden.

    Prior to joining Roche, she gained significant industry experience as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where she delivered various projects in the area of Procurement Transformation.

    She holds Master degrees in Business Innovation and CEMS International Management from University of St.Gallen and Stockholm School of Economics. Miriam is based in Basel.

    Maggie Berry

    Executive Director for EuropeWEConnect International

    Maggie Berry is Executive Director for Europe for WEConnect International, a global organisation championing supplier diversity in procurement and helping majority owned women businesses to connect into the corporate supply chain. Since December 2012, Maggie has had lead responsibility for the organisation in Europe and her role involves developing corporate and public sector support as well as growing and supporting a network of c1,800 women owned businesses across Europe. Previously, Maggie ran an online job board, recruitment and networking forum for women working in the technology profession in the UK. Maggie remains informally involved with championing women in the technology profession and is a Freeman at the Information Technologists' Company in the City of London. In June 2019, Maggie was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in recognition of her services to women in business and technology.

    Alexandra Tarmo

    Head of Partnerships & Social ProcurementUnilever

    Having joined Unilever in 2011, Alexandra has held several positions within the procurement organization based out of Schaffhausen in Switzerland. She was appointed Head of Partnerships & social Procurement in February 2021 and is responsible for designing and implementing the new Partnership strategy for Unilever that will embed our new ambitions around growth, innovation, environment and positive social impact.

    She is also responsible for the global implementation of Unilever Living Wage and Supplier diversity social commitments.

    Prior to Unilever, Alexandra worked with Danone, Colgate-Palmolive and Eaton where she held diverse procurement roles.

    Giuseppe Mora

    Purchasing Director Barilla AmericaBarilla

    Giuseppe Mora, Purchasing Director of Barilla America, moves from Italy to Chicago to take over this role in 2020, he joined Barilla in 2002 and since then as covered different roles in the purchasing and quality department.

    Since 2021, he is Global Supplier Diversity Leader cooperating with lead buyers and experts to enhance actual program and increase the total diverse spend.
