Job Details
The Senior Procurement Advisor is responsible for providing strategic, tactical and operational procurement advice across the organisation. You will play a key part in providing leadership, support, guidance and management in the uptake of value for money and fit for purpose procurement processes.
You will focus on the day to day co-ordination and oversight of the delivery of procurement services through effective engagement with stakeholders and the implementation of best practice contract and supplier management.
• Input into procurement planning and decision-making process by remaining up to date on changes in the procurement environment
• Operational procurement, contractual and commercial advice
• Planning and analysis of procurement projects to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget
• Undertake contract negotiations, drafting, contract performance management and contract variations
