Commercial Procurement Manager – full time – salary c £45,000 + car allowance + benefits

We now have the opportunity for a highly skilled Commercial Procurement Manager to join our team.
This is a home-based role with regular travel to our sites in Cambridgeshire & Somerset and other UK locations.
You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company’s procurement process to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services as well as developing and maintaining long term relationships with suppliers. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing procurement strategies, developing tenders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring operational teams receive the goods and services they need.

We are looking for someone with solid previous commercial procurement experience. If you have anaerobic digestion or waste industry experience this would be preferred but is not essential.
You should be skilled in the scheduling and planning of resources and have excellent planning and time management skills.
Ideally you will be qualified to degree level with a relevant professional qualification but if you have the right level of experience don’t let this put you off.
