As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day procurement activities and duties. Your main role will involve heading up your specific category of spend within your partner organisation, supporting in the development of the Annual Procurement Forward Plan.

You will drive value and innovation in line with the directorate's strategies, contributing to securing the best value for money services and additional benefits for residents. By ensuring that due consideration is given to the local economy and social values, you will align supply chain activities with our sustainability ambitions.

Alongside these duties, you will hold regular stakeholder engagement at senior levels and identify opportunities to add value and seek out innovative ideas for improvement.
