PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT - GROWING PROCUREMENT CONSULTANCY
SALARY: £38,000-45,000 + 5-10% BONUS + CIPS SPONSORSHIP + PRIVATE HEALTH CARE + LIFE ASSURANCE
LOCATION: HOME BASED CONTRACT (CLIENT TRAVEL FULLY EXPENSED)

This boutique consultancy has won multi-million£ contracts across the private and public sector and are looking to onboard individuals keen on developing their procurement careers by working with a plethora of clients in a project-based environment. If you have a proactive approach and consider yourself to have a consultative nature, then this opportunity might be for you!
Training and development are of the upmost importance for the consultancy, a learning budget that can go towards qualifications such as CIPS is provided by the consultancy, to ensure professional growth of each and every individual. There is also a great team structure with close contact with the Directors to learn on the job internally from who have developed FTSE 100 organisation's procurement functions, to become more innovative and have implemented best practices across diverse procurement environments. These are mentors that will have a wealth of knowledge to share with the successful candidate, who can then follow a similar career path.
The consultancy is going through a great deal of growth, hence the onboarding of multiple consultants, joining an organisation in this period would be beneficial to upcoming procurement professionals, as there will be an abundance of projects to deliver on, leading to rapid professional growth. On top of that this consultancy has a wide network of clients and partners. This networking can lead to valuable relationships that extend beyond your time with the consultancy.
The ideal candidate for the Procurement Consultant position will possess:
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to uncover valuable insights.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to foster strong relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Healthcare procurement experience (indirects) - preferred
- Rail procurement experience (indirects) - preferred
- Transport procurement experience - preferred
